  Ashton Lewis, Jr. is originally from Chesapeake, Virginia. Vice President and General Manager, he has been a part of the automotive industry since 1984, but has been involved full time since 2007. As V.P. and General Manager of Hampton Chevrolet, Ashton has learned that the success of any business is achieved by taking care of your customer and creating a great work environment for your employees. While his mood can be determined by what music he is listening to, whether it be U2, Metallica, or anything else from Country to Punk, his free time is spent doing the things he enjoys most: spending time with his family or doing anything that involves vehicles and racing.

  I moved from my hometown of Memphis, TN, in 2003.  Shortly after moving here, I was in the market for a vehicle.  I ended up at Hampton Chevrolet and never left there!  I was blown away by the family-run dealership atmosphere and "non-traditional" ways of the car business.  2011 has been a big year for me.  I recently was promoted to Sales Manager at Hampton Chevy and my wife, Jennifer, and I just had our first child, Aidan, in May of 2011.  My favorite things include, the Tennessee Titans football, University of Memphis basketball, music and my dog, Cooper.

Though his first job was at a concessions stand by a pool, he was drawn to the automotive industry by his willingness to help others every day. After seeing Hampton Chevrolet on tv, he became a part of their large family.  Outside of work, Dave spends a lot of time playing with his dogs, Gabby and Guiness, or watching his favorite sports team, "Da Bears!"
